Key responsibilities:
Business Development & Sales Growth
• Identify and develop new customers (hyperscalers, cloud providers, enterprises, CDNs, telecoms, system integrators).
• Drive revenue growth across assigned regions or global accounts.
• Execute go-to-market strategies for international expansion.
Solution Selling (Technical & Commercial)
• Understand and present data center solutions:
• Colocation (retail, wholesale)
• Power density and energy availability
• Cooling technologies o Interconnection and network ecosystems
• Sustainability and energy efficiency (PUE, renewable sourcing)
• Translate customer technical needs into commercial proposals.
• Work closely with pre-sales, engineering, and operations teams.
Customer & Account Management
• Act as the primary commercial interface for international clients.
• Manage global or multi-country accounts, ensuring consistency of contracts and pricing.
• Maintain strong commercial and technical stakeholder relationships.
• Coordinate renewals, expansions, and cross-selling opportunities (power, space, connectivity, services).
Market & Competitive Intelligence
• Monitor international market trends:
• Hyperscaler expansion
• Regulatory and sovereignty requirements
• Energy pricing and availability
• Provide market feedback to product, strategy, and leadership teams.
Forecasting & Reporting
• Maintain accurate sales pipeline and forecasts.
• Report on revenue, bookings, and customer activity.
• Track KPIs such as deal size, sales cycle length, win rate, and churn.
Travel & Representation
• Frequent international travel to customer sites, data centers, and industry events.
• Represent the company at global trade shows and conferences as needed.
Competencies and skills
• Strong B2B and complex sales experience
• Solid understanding of data center infrastructure and cloud ecosystems
• Ability to manage long, high-value sales cycles
• Excellent negotiation and cross-cultural communication skills
• Comfort working across time zones and regions
• Represent the company at global trade shows and conferences as needed
• Professional literacy in English and German are mandatory, French is an advantage
