We’re looking for a Senior Event Manager who can turn a room full of CIOs into a community – and a conference into a commercial engine.

Our customers entire event engine – from strategy to execution. You won’t just plan events: you’ll build the playbook that turns offline experiences into measurable pipeline and positions Lobster as the brand supply chain leaders want to be associated with.

  • Our customers annual events and experiences strategy across owned events (Data Hero Summit, executive roundtables, customer meetups), external conferences (trade fairs, partner events, industry summits), and digital activations (webinars, virtual roundtables)
  • The flagship event for 1,000+ supply chain, IT, and data leaders, from venue selection and speaker program to attendee experience and commercial activation
  • Regional satellite events across DACH, Benelux, Nordics, UK, and France that feed into and extend the flagship moment
  • The sales activation layer around every event: pre-event outreach, on-site meeting orchestration, post-event follow-up sequences, and pipeline attribution
  • The event ROI framework – tracking leads generated, meetings booked, influenced pipeline, and cost per opportunity across all formats
  • The offline-to-digital bridge – extending event impact through content repurposing, live social amplification, on-demand libraries, and digital community engagement
  • End-to-end event delivery including budgeting, vendor management, creative direction, and on-site execution
  • Community & partnership development – building relationships with industry associations, tech alliances, and local networks to extend our customers event footprint

Requirements:

  • 7+ years in B2B event management, including 3+ years in a senior or lead role owning large-scale events (500+ attendees)
  • A track record of building events that drive measurable pipeline and revenue – not just attendance numbers
  • Experience in B2B SaaS, enterprise software, supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing tech
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder events across multiple European markets
  • Strong commercial instinct – you think in leads, pipeline, and customer lifetime value, not just event satisfaction scores
  • Excellent project management skills: you can run a €500K+ event budget, manage 10+ vendors, and keep 20 stakeholders aligned
  • Fluency in English and German
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% across Europe – you’ll need to be where the events are

What sets you apart:

  • You’ve built a flagship event from scratch (or scaled one from 200 to 1,000+ attendees) and can talk about exactly how you did it
  • You understand the intersection of events and demand generation – you’ve designed post-event conversion sequences that turned attendees into pipeline
  • You’re comfortable with CRM and marketing automation tools (HubSpot preferred) to track attribution and optimize event ROI
  • You have a point of view on merging offline experiences with digital engagement – and examples to prove it
  • You’ve worked in a high-growth environment and know what it means to operate with urgency and accountability
  • You’re a compelling storyteller who can brief a keynote speaker, curate a panel, and write event copy that makes people actually want to show up
