The contractor’s services are provided for the customer’s largest IT program, which is divided into several projects. The projects are partly handled agilely (iDIS, DFI), partly according to a conventional waterfall approach, embedded in a program structure that uses SAFe approaches. The IT renewal carried out as part of this program affects various systems used at several regional locations. Advice is sought on setting up a functional program structure and staffing some of the projects.

Description of services:

Advice on the planning, control and implementation of projects and cross-divisional corporate programs in the big data environment
Planning and monitoring of the IT project safely and confidently towards all stakeholders
Comprehensive time and milestone planning
Content preparation and creation of status reports, templates and analyses for corporate internal appointments at top management level
Fulfillment of specifications regarding deadlines, budget, content and quality according to specifications
Optimization and further development of project planning
Active risk management including initiation of risk-minimizing measures

MUST requirement*:

At least 10 years of professional experience as a project/program manager in big data / AI environment with leadership of large project teams in complex (group) structures with a high proportion of communicative activity at all group levels
At least 7 years of proven project management experience in at least one of the following areas: Big Data, data strategy, data management, analytics strategy, IT strategy, IT reorganization, or BI architecture planning
Sound knowledge of at least 5 years of innovation drivers such as Big Data, Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Data Science etc. and their use in an industrial context
Very good knowledge of the German language, both spoken and written (Native speaker or at least level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) with proof of certifications

TARGET requirement:

Good knowledge (5 years) of agile methods and familiar working methods in design thinking
Good knowledge (min. 5 years) in using the tools Jira, Confluence and SharePoint
Good knowledge (at least 5 years) in stakeholder communication with external customers and top management
Practical experience (at least 5 years) in the use of project management tools such as MS Project
