Role description:
– Database Administrator Senior Level (+5 Years experience)
– 3 days a week minimum, 4 days a week maximum
– Remote with up to 20% on side (in general once a month for 2 or 3 days)
– Start ASAP
– Planned end: end of February 2025 (with option to enhance until end of June 2025)

Must Have knowledge
– German C1 Level
– MS SQL DBA (MSSQL Server 2014 and later)
– mySQL DBA (mySQL 5 and later)
– Postgres DBA
– DB and DB-Server Architecture Knowledge
– Give the customer Advice for Optimization and recommended changes

Other conditions
– Planned migrations to more up-to-date DB systems
– Planned migrations into Azure cloud (build hybrid environments)
– Performance optimization
– Data security and compliance
– Database design and modeling
– Software Update and Patch Management
– Monitoring and Reporting
– Troubleshooting and Support
– Documentation of existing DB Systems in confluence
– Plan and implement Disaster Recovery Strategies
– Travel expenses must be included in the daily rate

Other information
– More or less no Documentation for existing systems available
– Only production systems are available (no test environments)
– Several DB Clusters with lots of databases that are not documented
