We are looking for an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist (m/w/d)
The Senior Payroll Specialist will play an important role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance with local regulations, and maintaining HR administrative processes. The successful candidate should have a strong background in payroll with at least 5 years of experience, coupled with excellent knowledge of HR administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Processing: Handle end-to-end payroll processing for the DACH region, including data input, calculations, and reconciliation to ensure accurate and timely salary disbursements.
- Compliance: Stay up-to-date with German payroll and tax regulations to ensure payroll processes are in compliance with local laws and regulations.
- HR Administration: Manage various HR administrative tasks, including employee record maintenance, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee data, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Reporting: Prepare and generate regular and ad-hoc payroll and HR reports for internal and external use.
- English Language Skills: Proficiency in English at B2 or C1 level is considered an advantage due to potential communication with the global team.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in payroll processing in Germany.
- Strong knowledge of German payroll and related to payroll tax regulations.
- Experience in HR administration is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in English at B2 or C1 level is an advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with payroll software and HRIS systems.
- Location around Karlsruhe or within the Baden-Württemberg province preferred due to the need for onsite presence at the Karlsruhe office for at least half of the time.
