We are looking for a Software Tech Lead to join our TSO (Technology, Services & Operations) team. You will be working on our EV Charging products and will be the key software engineer making technical decisions for the team as well as hands on work (coding, testing, DevOps etc). You already have experience working in a similar role, preferably with focus on IoT and working with either Java or Python frameworks. You are also familiar with modern software development in cloud environments such as Azure or AWS.

 

Your Contribution to The Big Picture

  • You are responsible for the software technical architecture (edge and cloud) and align technical requirements between other product development teams
  • You will be coding in Python (MQTT, PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB, Django etc) and approaching/ coordinating code reviews
  • You will assist the product owner in the planning and estimating of technical tasks for the team

 

Your skills

  • You have a degree in computer science, with focus on software engineering
  • Minimum 2 years commercial experience working as a software engineer, with focus on backend technology stack. If you have IoT experience, this is a big plus
  • You have demonstrable experience working with Azure, AWS or simian cloud platforms, and are familiar with micro software architectures and associated DevOps principals (containers, pipelines etc)
  • Demonstrable experience working with Python backend technologies (e.g., django, mosquito, requests, REST API development etc)
  • You can communicate in both German and English languages (oral and written)
  • You understand the use of modern software development toolsets (Git, Jira, Confluence, Docker etc)
