Germany is a very popular destination for\nmany foreign workers searching for employment and adventure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Many dream of a job at large German\ncompanies such as BMW, Mercedes or SAP just like our intern Mary. She s from\nCameroon but has been living in Germany for the past 6 years. Before receiving\nher visa she studied the German language. After that she moved to the beautiful\ncity of Mannheim. The beautiful city on the Rhine offers more than a beautiful\nbaroque palace, it is also the home of one of Germanys most prestigious\nuniversities. Hear Mary began her studies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The first semester was very tough. As\nnon-German native studying at a German speaking university can be a real\nchallenge. \u201cI was very shy at the start.\u201d Her teachers told her to be more open\nand take the initiative. Only by doing that your fellow students can give you\nimportant tips that can help you during your studies and give you a better idea\non what subjects you should take to further your career.

\nThen came the internship. After sending over 30 applications through a lucky\ncoincidence she found Hibernian Recruitment and had found the perfect\ninternship. For the last five months now, Mary has been working on doing\nprocess optimization and integration. \u201cI was allowed to experiment in different\nfields like for example bookkeeping and was able to see different parts of the\ncompany. What was the most exciting for me was process optimization.\u201d Here Mary\nworked on linking various software programs to make the recruitment process\nwork smother.

\nAfter almost 5 months in Munich it\u2019s time to say goodbye, it\u2019s time to continue\nstudying. After graduating business informatics, Mary wants to get a job at a\nbig one Software company. \u201cWorking at SAP would be great!\u201d We from Hibernian\nwish her all the success in the world and hope she succeeds at finding a\nsuitable software house to work for! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
