Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of standardized sales processes, including lead management, opportunity management, and sales forecasting.
- Identify areas for improvement in sales workflows and propose solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to implement and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for sales activities.
- Document and maintain sales processes and best practices.
- Oversee the management and maintenance of key sales systems, including Salesforce (or your CRM), and other sales enablement tools.
- Ensure data integrity within Salesforce, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information for reporting and analysis.
- Lead the implementation of new Salesforce features and functionalities.
- Provide support and training to sales team members on the use of sales tools and systems.
- Develop and maintain a robust sales analytics framework to provide actionable insights to the sales team and leadership.
- Create and deliver regular reports and dashboards to track sales performance, identify trends, and inform decision-making.
- Conduct in-depth analysis to identify opportunities for improvement in sales strategies and tactics.
- Present findings and recommendations to sales leadership.
- Lead and mentor a small team of sales operations specialists, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Delegate tasks effectively and ensure accountability.
- Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, finance, and customer success, to ensure alignment and efficient operations.
- Support the onboarding and training of new sales team members on sales processes and systems.
- Participate in sales meetings and provide operational updates and insights.
Required Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience in sales operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce (or your CRM) and related sales technologies. Salesforce administration experience is a strong plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data, draw meaningful conclusions, and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing sales processes.
- Passionate about using data to drive sales decisions and improve performance.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and being actively involved in day-to-day operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) software.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Understanding of B2B sales processes.
- Experience in a high-growth SaaS environment.
- German language skills.
